1The App

InterestMe is a personal finance application with calculation tools, a budget planner, short lessons (Learn) and savings goals, to help you understand saving, borrowing and investing. It has no accounts and stores your data on your device. Some features are part of InterestMe Pro, an optional paid subscription (section 3); everything else is free.

2Educational use — not financial advice

The App is an educational tool. The results it shows are hypothetical projections based on the figures you enter. They do not constitute investment, financial, tax, or legal advice, and we do not guarantee any result, return, or outcome. Nothing in the App should be treated as a recommendation to buy, hold, or sell any financial product. Always do your own research and consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions.

3InterestMe Pro

What it is. InterestMe Pro unlocks the features marked Pro in the App (for example the detailed budget, the investment comparison, savings goals with their check-ins and reminders, and the full Learn path). Features that are free stay free.

Buying. Pro is sold through the App Store or Google Play, with your account there, and the store's own terms apply to the payment. It is offered yearly or monthly. The price, in your currency and with any taxes the store adds, is shown in the App and by the store before you confirm. There is no free trial.

Automatic renewal. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, at the price then in force, unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your store account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends. If the price changes, the store tells you beforehand, as its rules require.

Cancelling. You can cancel at any time in your store account (on iPhone and iPad: Settings → your name → Subscriptions; on Android: Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions), or from the App's Profile → InterestMe Pro → Manage subscription. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Pro stays active until the end of the period already paid. Deleting the App or resetting its data does not cancel a subscription.

Refunds. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies; we cannot issue them ourselves. Nothing in these Terms limits the rights the law gives you as a consumer.

New phone. On a new phone with the same store account, use Restore purchases on the InterestMe Pro screen. A subscription bought on the App Store does not carry over to Google Play, or the other way round.

4Your data

The App does not collect or transmit your data. The information you enter is stored on your device, and in your phone's own backup if you use one (see the Privacy Policy). You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter, and for the decisions you make based on the App's results.

5Acceptable use

You agree to use the App for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes, and not to:

• misuse, interfere with, or attempt to reverse-engineer the App;
• use the App in any way that violates applicable law.

6Intellectual property

The App — including its code, design, the “InterestMe” name, and logo — is owned by DevOP or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for your personal use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from the App, except as permitted by law.

7No warranty

The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied — including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free or that its results are accurate or complete.

8Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DevOP shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data or profit, arising from your use of the App. In particular, we are not liable for any financial decision you make based on the App's output.

9Changes

We may update the App or change these Terms from time to time. If we change the Terms, we will revise the “Effective date” above and post the new version on this page. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the new Terms.

10Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device, which deletes your local data as well (a copy may remain in your phone's backups). Deleting the App does not cancel an InterestMe Pro subscription: cancel it in your store account. We may terminate or suspend your use of the App if you breach these Terms.
